What? How did that happen? Is it because everyone over 20 is either a suicide bomber or a victim of a suicide bomber? Does everyone have six kids? That's just insane.
And finally, no, it's not the Simpsons. It's something else. It's just part of the second world's obsession with American culture, and although they are obsessed with it and they love it they must still make it their own. Ridiculous.
