Satanism has long involved abortion as a ritual, although I didn't know they would want to use a very dead fetus for any kind of ritual. I think the abortion ritual is symbolic of trying to abort Christ, and it's also functional because Satanism promotes free sexuality.
I've also read an article by some feminist saying that our culture doesn't have enough rituals, and that abortion should be one of our new cultural rituals.
