Missed ya Todd Boy

Hey,

Just wanted to say thank you to Sergei and his wife for the lovely evening of bocce ball, pictionary and booze. Great time. Sorry ya missed it Todd! How are classes going? You did switch so you have class during the begining of the week right?

A good time was had by all. Very interesting firewater, by the way. It was made with hot peppers and honey. Highly unusual. I felt a little bad about tearing it up on the Pictionary front, though. We should have done a wife-swap kind of deal for the teams, because then there's not the strange psychic connection. A lot of those games were really close, too.

I am no longer sad that I missed the shin-dig. Why? Because you all are true brothers and it makes me truly happy that you all had a good time.

"A good friend sticketh closer than a brother." From Proverbs, I forget where.

The more I've thought about it the more I believe that it was no accident that the four of us hooked up. Maybe we should start a band.

Yes, I am in property MTW, ConLaw WRF and Torts RF.

Kelly sang bass...Sergei sang Tenor...me and little Toddy would join right in there...

$1 crisp dollar bill to whoever can tell me where that song reference comes from (not an offer) :)???

I sat down tonight to get ready to study some Evidence and I looked at my syllybys and WHAM! class isn't until Thursday...that rules...I'm going to do a little reading ahead perhaps, because I am a complete loser...

Well...I believe I'll see you all in ConLaw tomorrow at 1...

Ok...If I could edit the above post I would, of course, change syllybys to Sillybus...

Than I would change it back to syllybys and then again I would change syllybys to syllabus...

I think I like "Silly-Bus" the best. If such a thing had existed when I was in grade-school, I might have been able to go to law school much sooner; it took me several years to recover from the mind-numbing experience of grades 1 thru 12.

I don't know who penned "Daddy Sang Bass" but the earliest rendition I know is Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. The Statler Bros. covered it, too, a little later.

Also, I forgot to mention that it is a good thing that Kelly and I weren't at the party cuz we would have mopped the floor with ya'll at pictionary.

Also, what I've learned from Property in two days: What's mine is mine; what's yours is also mine. And, if you find money somewhere, DON'T TELL ANYONE JUST SPEND IT! I likey!

Todd beat me to noting the Johnny Cash version of the song (it's on the 16 Biggest Hits CD I have).
