We must convene!

Friday doesn't work for me, but tomorrow would. Could we possibly arrange that in time?

Otherwise, next week is probably OK, assuming baby L. Hoffart doesn't decide to make an appearance.

Congrats!

Kelly!

Congrats on finishing the BAR! I assume there were no problems, other than the ones on the exam. Well done. We must celebrate sometime.

Randy's?

Are we going to Randy's soon? And, if so, when? And, either way, did you know they have a web site featuring events, (undoubtedly embarrassing) photos, and info on their poker?

Responses?

Incidentally, it seems you need to buy a card there for $20, and you can earn points on it based on how much you spend. You can use those points in the tournaments or use them as credit. That's how they get around gambling laws. Sounds good to me.

Can you argue with this?

If this rationale wins out in American society, how are we to argue? How do you present scientific evidence of a belief? How do you argue against a universal negative proposition? What are we to do? Or, is this similar to the villiage-athiest-egomanic-syndrome that has always plagued socieity, so there is no need for alarm? Response?

Obviously...

Obviously, the slippery slope argument against homosexual marriage is wrong. UPDATE: and wrong (this one is sick)
