I, for one, am happy.
I think he'll do great and he won't be a "scalito".
I also think that he'll uphold Roe, but might allow bans on partial birth abortion and extentions of State's rights starting with Lopez and it's prodgeny.
As Martha Stewart might say, "It's a good thing".
You certainly know my thoughts on whether a "Scalito" would be a good thing. I don't know enough to be able to tell whether he will or will not be a "Scalito."
Honestly, I'd like to see Roe overturned so state legislators will have some actual accountability for their views on the subject rather than making empty pro-life comments.
